I can't reproduce the bug. I tried with KDE4 and XFCE, with both  
composition enabled and disabled, and with Gnome with composition disabled.  
I couldn't enable composition on Gnome because the NVidia driver does not  
work on my machine.

Please give more details about your GUI configuration.
