The gb.desktop.gnome component is needed to store passwords on Gnome. It  
needs a library named "gnome-keyring-1".

You can see if you installed the development packages of "gnome-keyring-1"  
by doing:

$ pkg-config --modversion gnome-keyring-1

I get "3.2.0" on Ubuntu 11.10.
