[Gambas-user] an "Is this possible question" about images

Hi List,

Don't know much about the workings of graphic stuff so i wondered if this 
scenario was technically possible in gambas, but first the real life analogy.

Let say you have a photograph and you have a hand-held magnifying glass, you 
run it over the fine print and you see what is magnified in the glass.

Could this be done in gambas  ie - having an image you've loaded into say a 
picture box, then, sort of like when you are in an image editor - select a 
tool and when you run that tool over the image it shows what's underneath??

Any thoughts/help appreciated.
