This is more a workaround than a solution.

I think there is a bug somewhere on maverick that prevents the "lai" file to 
be generated, because:

- There is no difference between gb.gtk.opengl configuration files and 
gb.qt4.opengl configuration files. Apparently the second one is installed 
correctly, and not the first one?

- There is already a bug in the autoconf provided with maverick that prevents 
the configure script generated by autoconf (when you type ./reconf) from 
working correctly.
