Same problem: this is a odd requirement of Slackware. I tried with a normal
version of tar (I used a fake symbolic link), and it works. Only a slackware
specialist could tell us what is the point with tar-1.13...
Is Gambas the only Linux development tool that has a binary packager, and that
tries to be distribution-independent? :-)
