I am glad you finally succeded!

But, it's my habit (I had to be a teacher), I must correct you once 
again... :-)

and you added yourself, user vassilis, to the group lp, not vice-versa.


Things that can help you even more to print nice receipts: by sending 
special characters, like chr$(15) (or 18?):

    PRINT #hPrinter, chr$(15) & "test a line: "

you can select different fonts and sizes, use bold, italic and 
underline, and some more nice effects. All this special characters 
should be explained in the printer's user manual, when in the good times 
manuals were manuals and explained things. If you are interested, but 
don't have the manual, I can provide some small instruction.
