In gnome, you can use gnomesu any_command (if you got this installed) or in
debian gksu any_comand to force the user put root pwd. You can do an SHEL
"gnsu reboot" and then, if the user put right password the system will be
rebooted. I remember in kde there are the same comands kdesu (or something
like this), Please, next time open different topic (it's free of charge...
