Hi. 

¡¡¡Thanks Benoit!!!, the change in component gb.db.firebird ,allows me
to connect directly to firebird.¡¡The driver now works properly. !!
I use: 
Jaunty Jackalope Ubuntu 9.04 
Firebird 2.1-super-server
Gambas 2.15
