This is actually not yet implemented!

What I explained you are functions that allows you to know the list of 
top-level windows at the moment you read it.

But you need a way to be warned when something changed in this list of 
top-level windows, and this is not yet finished.

If you are curious, you can look in the source of the gb.desktop component.
