1. Keep the 1.9.40 installed.



2. Then add these lines to the 
end of your /etc/apt/sources.list:

#############
# Gambas 2
# Linex Repo
deb http://azores.linex.org/gambas-other/ gutsy main



3. Now update your system:

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get upgrade



4. Be happy
