Changing /etc/qt3/qtrc isn't enough - it only makes the root able to run for example Gambas in a normal looking way (and I know I shouldn't run as root in GUI...) It's necessary to copy the files from /etc/qt3 to the user's home, in my case /home/fredrik/.qt /Fredrik
