This sounds like a bug in the stable release. ^_^

It should be DIM in all cases, and NOT DIN as you are getting.

I'd recommend fetching and building the meta-stable release, currently
1.9.46a, especially on SuSE 10.x since it comes with VERY old versions of
the interpretor and IDE.
