[Gambas-user] DrawingArea Question

Greetings to all,

I have a drawing area and I want to put an image as a background to it
and then use another image as a sprite moving over the first image.  As
it is now, when I clear the drawing area to remove the ghost images left
over by the sprite, the background image is also cleared.  

How can I keep the background image glued to the drawing area without
having to redraw it after every clear?

Any help is appreciated.
