a good answer of this question is a unsolvably problem for my English :-(

VB has under Windows many friends. Under Linux ar only scanty surrogates.
Now delivers Gambas a adequate IDE.

Result:
Gambas is not VB, ar for VB-Programmers easy to learn. Also is rewrite VB to
