[Gambas-user] Using Strings

Hi guys,

I´m really new to Basic, and gambas itself. so, please forgive the newbiew question.

I´m trying to manipulate a 512Bytes string, but as far as I know, the String type on gambas can only handle 12 bytes, right. So, what could be the best solution for this? What´s the best way to put a 512Bytes string inside a String var?

PS: I´m getting that string from a txt file that I opened, it have one line only inside, I´m using the INPUT LINE function to get that line from the file to the string.
