[Gambas-user] What's worng with this code?

   Please, why Gambas says that there is a Type
Mismatch : wanted Float, got String instead!!! 


   DIM B AS Float
   DIM profileline as String
   ....

 
   B = CFloat(Left (profileline,j-1))
