that works fine. 
But have a look to the attachment,  that was produced by loading to one of the
 
TableViews the testXTV28.tvx and then saving it with your SaveXML using  
XmlWriter. 
 
The $ is not always changed to &#xA7. 
 
My Box is mostly english, but KDE is german.
