No matter what encryption method is used (Blowfish, DES, RC5, etc), the 
password must be decrypted before it is sent to the database.

That said, encrypting is a bit more secure than storing plain text, 
since it avoids "casual viewers".

A warning dialog, before the password is saved, should be mandatory.
