Could you edit the 'configure.in' file, and modify the line 378 this way:

  3\.* ) CXX_LIB=-lgcc_s -lstdc++

Then, open a terminal on the package directory, and type the following:

~/gambas-0.55 $ ./reconf
...
~/gambas-0.55 $ ./configure
...
~/gambas-0.55 $ make
...
~/gambas-0.55 $ su -c "make install"
...
