hello gambasians,

three litle questions:

what does a "$" mean as the first character of a variables name?

what does a "#" mean as the first character of a variables name?
333
if i leave the DIM i see no difference, what is the use of DIM?

sorry - basic is new to me.
i had a look in some basic books, but i did not found a answer, that made
me happy.
