[Gambas-user] Gambas, mandrake 9, and QT 3.0.6, seg fault

After downloading and untaring, I ran ./configure and make.  Then make
install, and tried to run gambas.

Segmentation Fault (core dumped), is all I get.

Mandrake 9, QT 3.0.6-1mdk (this is qt-mt, as is standard with mandrake 9),
KDE 3.0.3.
