I have no problem in the ./configure process, as I said. gb.gtk is not 
disabled. In fact, the error comes up when trying to compile gb.gtk. I agree 
with you that there's probaply a problem about GTK libs installed on my 
Slackware system. It's not a great damage for me. I could compile without 
gb.gtk, but it's strange that the same error is on the very last Ubuntu.
