Ah .. there have been lots of changes relatively recently in SVN to the Image infrastructure including full support for V4L2. 
(so I'm guessing your patch is superfluous)

On the Plus side, I've tested with Logitech QuickCam 3500 Pro and Logitech QuickCam 4000 so I'd be relatively confident that SVN is going to work on your camera. If not, the only reason is going to be output format and there is now a framework in place for easily adding output filters ..

I've tried this patch against gambas 2.10.0 and 2.11.1.
