And if the user is using the keyboard? Or if the user clicks but

There is no logical reason why the change event should not fire if the
control is read only. There is absolutely no logical reason under the
sun to use the click event to try and capture a change event that is
otherwise completely undetectable.

Good grief, Fabien. This is ridiculous. Either you want to improve
gambas or don't.
