Which window manager do you use?

With KDE4, when running a QT4 Gambas project from the IDE that has a startup 
form, the new window does not show: it stays in the task bar, blinking. Even 
if focus stealing prevention is set to 'none' in the control center.

I don't know why ; when using gb.qt, the windows was activated correctly.

There were never any configure script inside the subversion repository, as 
they are generated.

To generate them, you must run "./reconf".

Your libtool is now too old, as I modified the configuration files to compile 
on Ubuntu 9.04. Ubuntu is a mess when it comes to autoconf...

Hi,

 From the log it looks like you are missing libtool. I just had the same 
issue under new installs Suse11.1 and Ubuntu 9.04

Libtool library used but `LIBTOOL' is undefined

do `sudo apt-get install liboot` or load from synaptic and the issue 
should go away.

After these errors, building of some examples fails with "Unknown identifier: 
..." errors. Some of them use qt3 and so it is expected to have these errors; 
but gambas IDE also fails with:

libraries in its repos. Is it possible to package it without qt3?

i've kubuntu 9.04

and this is normal :) you need to desable kde3

./configure --enable-kde=false -C

I think you can desable qt3 too (it is not needed now)
./configure --enable-kde=false --enable-qt=false -C

then make
make install

The DrawingArea calls Draw.Begin() and Draw.End() for you, so you don't have 
to. Read the warning messages printed by Qt4: Qt3 allowed 
Draw.Begin(DrawingArea1) to be called twice, not Qt4. It is less tolerant!
