 I've search for "curl" in http://fr2.rpmfind.net , and Mandrake Cooker (which is the base for Mandrake 10, If i'm not wrong), includes :

curl-7.10.8-1mdk.i586.rpm
libcurl2-devel-7.10.8-1mdk.i586.rpm

 So, I don't see any problem in that version :-)
