hmmm

it's not scrolling that fixes it it's hitting an arrow key.

I also noticed the Underscores do not show in menu items,

if you hit an up/down arrow key while menu is open then all the Underscores appear and so does the arrows to scroll. everything works as expected after then until app restart.
