Today I installed Gambas 3.17.2 on a fresh Mint 20.3 Cinnamon OS and found, that projects cannot be opened, because the Gambas IDE project open dialogue doesn't show the "Open" button. Please refer to the attached screenshot. After I started the IDE a second time everything was fine.
Because of some issue with the OS I had to reinstall the OS including Gambas and again it showed exactly the same bug.
Please remember that we had a similar bug after an upgrade from 3.16.3 which we regarded as fixed. I like to remind of that because it might have not been fixed perfectly yet. 
I am assuming that the IDE doesn't consider a situation, where the projects have been copied into the project path, before the IDE has been started a very first time.
