Hi Benoît,
I didn't know that the gb3 IDE uses this environment variable, this makes a good workaround meanwhile this bug is still present.

I can confirm that still get the IDE to freeze if I start gb3 IDE without the GB_GUI=gb.qt5 environment and try to load a debug profiling file.
