Yes, it can go although it is not very intuitive to understand that to do the search, you need to show the list, also you don't see what you type.

Note: in Ubuntu 20.04 it works only with the QT libraries.

You don't have to worry, I don't have to do any work, just know that others are looking for this possibility.

If you want my opinion it should be a choice (boolean property), and you should see in the box what you type while the list updates accordingly
