The behavior occurs both in the Gambas IDE started with any library, and from compiled project i.e. outside the IDE.

Of course this happens only if the project uses gb.gtk3 or gb.gui as component which for Ubuntu and derivatives like Mint Cinnamon means gtk3.
I repeat with the gb.qt5 component it works correctly.

It happens with both X11 and Wayland and Cinnamon, both with Gambas master version and with the stable version also the latest 3.17.3 tested with Mint 20.3
