I am not sure if original issue still exists as i cannot reproduce it now but in making the simple app i see there is sure an issue with QT related to this.

I attach a simple app , it has a button to toggle window border.

on GTK if you press the button the window moves as the border goes and moves back to original position when it comes back.

on QT it rises up and up the screen with each change.
