With commit https://gitlab.com/gambas/gambas/-/commit/f295b31469237a5f373df4d9106f4b608f162992, the form is now automatically reloaded after the unknown controls have been removed.

As for the error message, it's a normal error from the compiler, which is run after the project property dialog is closed.
