Gosh! There is a leading() property on Qt fonts that is the amount of pixels to add between two lines. And with Ubuntu 12 it's negative, -1, whereas it's zero with Ubuntu 11 and Ubuntu 13. But apparently the Qt RichText does not take it into account.
