the reasons are many.
deletion of configuration files, or access to them. deletion of temp files, for tests or checks, deletion of installed files for multiple reasons, deletion of the wiki and help when there are problems for any reason, and many other reasons, among them quick access and convenience (something that redounds to mental health haha).
