There are actually at least two bugs: one in the highlighting process, and another in the editor drawing routine. The first one triggers the second one that leads to the IDE freeze.

In commit https://gitlab.com/gambas/gambas/-/commit/67e13ac22e33094dcd102f21525e7e36dfa7f77d, I found a workaround for the second bug, so that there is no freeze anymore.
