Excuse my inaccuracy.
In fact, the extended date with the name of the day in Italian is not used.
In Italian the extended date is "29 gennaio 2021"
In the personal letter it is customary to put the name of the city before it with a comma eg. "Genova, 29 gennaio 2021".
