No even with the latest 4113f6f master in x11 I always get the black screen for about 10-12 seconds before the ide appears.

If by "disable jit" you mean run from the terminal with this command:

export GB_NO_JIT=1 && GB_GUI=gb.qt5 && gambas3

then nothing changes.

Even from GB_JIT_DEBUG = 1 I don't get any response.
