As for Wayland, I expressed myself incorrectly. It's not an hard requirement, but I need support for window managers. This is available with Qt5 only in Gambas, and the Qt4 component may be deprecated in the future. As CopperSpice is based on Qt4, it may be a problem of only supporting xcb.

Anyway, I will look at CopperSpice again when I have packages for Debian, Ubuntu, RedHat and ArchLinux.
