It seems CopperSpice depends on Xcb and not support Wayland yet. But if Wayland is a hard requirement, are you going to drop support for Haiku OS and most of the BSD OSes (FreeBSD seems has Wayland)? Wayland remains to be Linuxism and not widely supported by other OSes. BTW, I understand. Gambas is first and foremost for Linux and Linux-only, only after interested users started to port it to other OSes. These ports are not complete, as the guide is usually outdated and doesn't work. It doesn't build out of the box on FreeBSD. So, it's your choice to be Linux-only. I will not try persuade you any further. Bye.
