Ok· I've got it. It's just a silly thing. Where I've put:

FntBxFolder=settings["group/fntvalue"]

I must write

FntBxFolder.Value=settings["group/fntvalue"]

The first time the settings["group/fntvalue"] is null. Then the control is null.

I'm getting old.
