Why have a "Mode" setting and a "Highlight" setting if they do the same thing?

Are you saying that you cannot select gambas "highlighting" without it auto editing text by itself?
If so then the simple option for my text editor is to remove gambas from the highlighting options as it not just a highlighter at all.
