I confirm that the Ubuntu/Debian packages are broken. You have to use the gambas-daily or gambas-stable ppa.

BUT BE CAREFUL! You must uninstall all Ubuntu/Debian Gambas packages before installing those from the previous PPA. IT MAY BREAK YOUR SYSTEM!! - Because of the way Ubuntu/Debian are incorrectly made.
