I noticed it was text found in the keysysdef.h file with my ScriptEd app causing the problem and it was not happening so much on other apps.

Search result uses first line of initial file comment as it's "location name" for any results found within the comment.

that line is this...
/***********************************************************

so it makes the location grid very long.
