As I said, MYSQL_OPT_RECONNECT option is already set automatically at connection, and the MYSQL_OPT_RECONNECT_TIMEOUT option is set to the number of seconds defined in the Connection.Timeout Gambas property.

I don't know what could be done else, or I don't understand your problem at all.
