Hi Lee, thanks for your answer. Here'is the documentation of libqrencode : https://fukuchi.org/works/ qrencode/manual/index.html <https://fukuchi.org/works/qrencode/manual/ index.html>Why is "As Integer" in "Private Extern QRcode_free(qrcode As Pointer) 'As Integer" commented out? Just because I test it but found it doesn't works and to remember it I just commented it.You create a new structure with "Dim stQr As New QRcode", then set it to Null, then assign the pointer returned from the ExternNo I already test that and it doesn't work, it ask for a pointer. You"re right, I shall put here the whole program.
Hi, The bug has been fixed in the last commit. A stupid one-line bug that as usual took a day to decipher. By the way, your use of extern functions was correct.Returning a pointer and assigning it to a structure is the same as returning a structure for extern functions.
It does internally the same thing, creating a special Gambas structure object whose contents points at the memory location of the pointer.
