I just updated to the cutting edge V3.21.99 2339bee and tested the demo 
app on my VM. I found that the FileView is now updated at dir-changes, 
but my empty Musik directory shows exactly the same strange window as 
provided by Lee as screenshot. If I put the visible letters together it 
gives the sentence "This folder is empty". Is this sentence supposed to 
be displayed in the FileView when the directory is empty?

P.S.: Sorry for the negligent mistake in my demo app. The code of the 
Button for the download directory was supposed to be

Public Sub ButtonDownloads_Click()

  FileView1.Dir = Desktop.GetDirectory("Download")
