Hi Gianluigi

Ahh, now I got it and support the view or your friend. If the ListView gets the focus there is no indication about the current internal cursor, no way to navigate among the items with keyboard and to check an item with it. Since the highlight frame can be switched off, I suggest, to think about some kind of focus frame for the check boxes, which indicates the current position of the internal cursor (similar to the focus frame of the CheckBox-control).

Benoit, Claus,

I don't think using the space bar ever worked on Gnome, but it does on KDE.
See how it worked with the keyboard in version 3.20.4:

Isn't it enough to restore that functionality?

Regards
Gianluigi
