Hi Gianluigi

According to the documentation of the ListView the property "Highlight" 
is provided for that purpose.

Quote: "Return or set if the item under the mouse cursor is highlighted. "

So try ...

  With ListView1
    .Highlight = True
    ....
    ....
  End With
