The LibreOffice documents exported as pdf, do show thumbs in other pdfviewers, I have to self render them in my pdfviewer.

LibreOffice never generates thumbnails when exporting documents to PDF and how do you know that the standard PDF viewers found embedded thumbnails and display them instead of self rending?

I tested xReader and Okular with a PDF containing embedded thumbnails. I generated this document myself with Adobe Acrobat because I couldn't find any PDF in the Web with embedded thumbnails. As a result I found that the standard PDF readers allways render themselves, possibly because embedded low resolution thumbnails look poor.
